What Camas and Vancouver do to a window
Camas and Vancouver sit on the Washington side of the Columbia, and the river is the first thing that lands on the glass. From October through March the Columbia fog fills the lowlands most mornings and pulls pollen, soot and the paper mill haze down onto the windows, and the east wind out of the Gorge in winter drives rain sideways into glass that normally stays dry under the eaves. Prune Hill in Camas rises above the fog with views of Mount Hood and the river, and the houses up there were built with the view in mind, two-story great rooms and walls of glass that show every spot when the sun is low.
Lacamas Lake and Round Lake put mist on the homes around them and on the Camas Meadows fairways, and the firs that cover the hills above the lakes drop pollen in April and May, sap in June and needles all winter. In Vancouver, Felida and Salmon Creek sit under the same firs on the slopes above Salmon Creek and Vancouver Lake, and the Lake Shore homes get mist and fog off Vancouver Lake. Ridgefield is still building, and the graded lots along Pioneer Street and toward the wildlife refuge put construction dust on glass across the town. The grass pollen arrives in June, the big-leaf maples drop honeydew that spots everything under them, and the September smoke from the Gorge fires leaves a brown film.
A quarterly plan suits most Camas, Vancouver and Ridgefield homes, with the inside glass done once a year and an exterior visit added after the fir pollen in May. Lake homes on Lacamas and Vancouver Lake and homes on the Camas Meadows fairways often go to every two months from October through March to keep the fog spots and moss off. The Prune Hill and Felida hillside homes have two and three stories of glass on the view side, and we reach it with water-fed poles and purified water from the ground or the deck. We work Camas, Felida and Ridgefield on their own days, work the whole street in one pass, and send a text the morning of each visit so nobody has to wait at home.

Camas and Vancouver window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Camas and Vancouver?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Lakefront and estate homes get a custom quote.
Can you clean the lakeside glass on Lacamas Lake?
Yes. Most lake houses have a wall of glass facing the water over a walkout or a sloped yard, and we clean it with water-fed poles and purified water from the ground, the deck or the dock and ladders only where the footing is safe. Tell us the number of stories on the water side on the quote form so we bring the right equipment.
Can you remove the moss and green film from the sills under the firs?
Yes. The green film that grows on north glass, sills and frames in Felida, Salmon Creek and on the hills above Lacamas Lake comes off with the regular clean, and on a plan it never gets a chance to root into the seals. We also clean the tracks, where the needles pack in, and the screens, which are included in the Platinum package.
Do you work on both sides of the river on the same plan?
Yes. Our Portland crew covers Clark County on its own days, so Camas, Felida and Ridgefield are on the same plans, prices and promise as Lake Oswego or the West Hills. If you have a home on each side, or a rental across the river, we can put both on one account and one set of texts.
